Olympic Gold 2016 · 3× World Champion

Racquets tracked

The most successful European female badminton player in history. Marin's explosive, unorthodox left-handed style shattered Asian dominance in women's singles. Yonex’s reports put her on the Nanoray Z-Speed from 2014 to early 2017, a span that includes her Rio 2016 gold; no Yonex source puts her on the Nanospeed 9900, which is often credited with it. A torn ACL in the Paris 2024 semi-final proved career-ending; after further knee surgery she announced her retirement in March 2026.

Yonex’s reports name her racquet for most of her titles. Rio 2016 is the exception: no Yonex report names that racquet, but it falls inside her documented Nanoray Z-Speed years, April 2014 to March 2017.
