Purity of control: ArcSaber 10 Pearl White
Japan-exclusive and timeless
In 2014, Yonex released a Japan-exclusive Pearl White reissue of the ArcSaber 10 — a colorway that stripped away the racquet's association with any individual player and presented it as a pure instrument of craftsmanship. The Pearl White used the same CS Carbon Nanotube frame construction and Super HMG material as the standard ARC-10, but the all-white finish gave it a timeless, gallery-worthy aesthetic that resonated strongly with Japanese collectors.
End of a line
By 2014, the ArcSaber 10 was entering its final production cycle, its legacy already cemented through Taufik Hidayat and Peter Gade. The Pearl White was among the last Japan-market runs of this frame, making it a meaningful closing chapter for one of the most beloved control racquets in badminton history. Stiff flex, Ultra PEF shaft, and 3UG4 specs — unchanged from the original, because nothing needed changing.
Quiet appreciation
At $548 with +6% YoY movement, the Pearl White is quietly appreciating as collectors recognise it as a legitimate end-of-line collectible rather than just a cosmetic variant. Clean unstrung examples are increasingly rare. It sits above the 2019 Red reissue in price precisely because it was the last genuinely new production run, not a revival.
Pearl White has a warm, iridescent finish — not stark white. Distinct from the 2019 Red's ARC-10N designation. No 'N' suffix on shaft branding. 3U only (no 4U production). Stiff flex. Super HMG designation visible. Standard Yonex hologram.
Slow, steady appreciation. End-of-line Japan production. The cleanest pure-ArcSaber collectible for collectors who want the platform without player-edition premiums.
