The AX-77 Pro is the 2022 successor to the original AX-77, rebuilt with Volume Cut Resin alongside NAMD while shifting to a stiffer flex — a genuine material step-up from the 1st Gen's medium-flex profile. It preserves the series' versatile all-court attacking character while raising the technical ceiling.
Volume Cut Resin and NAMD
Volume Cut Resin reduces excess resin in the graphite layering, lightening the frame without sacrificing rigidity. Combined with NAMD's explosive shaft snap, the AX-77 Pro produces a fast, responsive smash with good feel across all shot types — well-suited to singles players who need power on attack and manoeuvrability on defence.
