The Duora 8XP (Extended Power) was a specific variant of the Duora 8 line, tuned for players who wanted to emphasise the power side of the Dual Optimum System. Japan-made, stiff-flex, NANOMETRIC DR throughout — produced in limited quantities for certain regional markets, making surviving examples genuinely uncommon.
NANOMETRIC DR amplifies the box frame
NANOMETRIC DR throughout amplifies the direct-rebound effect of the box-frame forehand side, generating sharper smash repulsion than standard Duora models. The stiff flex and even balance make the box-side smash feel explosive while the aero side retains its fast-drive character — one of the most attack-focused Duora frames produced.
Secondary market position
At $180–$220 for Japan-made unstrung units, the DUO-8XP occupies the same price tier as the NR-750 and ARC-7 but with the additional scarcity of regional-market limited production. The XP suffix and limited distribution make it the Duora that appears least frequently in secondary market listings — a genuine find when clean examples surface.
