The final Voltric: Voltric Glanz
End of an era
The VT-Glanz ('Glanz' meaning radiance in German) was a late-stage Voltric released with high-end aesthetics, marking one of the final expressions of the Voltric concept before Yonex pivoted fully to the Astrox era. The visually striking finish and 5U weight class positioned it as the upmarket lightweight Voltric.
NANOMETRIC DR throughout
NANOMETRIC DR in both frame and shaft delivers the same explosive rebound character found in the top-tier Voltrics — fast shuttle acceleration and crisp impact feel that standard mid-range Voltrics cannot replicate. For a 5U Taiwan-made racquet, the Glanz punches above its weight class in terms of material specification.
Collector appeal
Late-run Voltric models in unused or near-mint condition carry a premium among players nostalgic for the Voltric era. The Glanz is the most visually distinctive of the lightweight Voltrics — a natural companion to the VT-Flash and VT-FB for a complete lightweight Voltric sub-series display.
VT-Glanz designation. Medium flex, head-heavy balance. 5U weight. NANOMETRIC DR. Made in Taiwan. Distinctive premium finish.
No tracked price. Most collectable lightweight Voltric — end-of-era appeal building as the series recedes further from production.
