The Yellow Lin Dan Exclusive was the first chapter in Yonex's three-colorway LD narrative for the Z-Force II frame. Released in 2015–2016, the Yellow was the most visible of the pair — used in several high-profile Lin Dan promotional appearances and stocked across more markets than the subsequent White edition.
The 4U factor
Specifications mirror the full LD formula: Extra Stiff flex, HM Graphite shaft reinforced with EX-HMG and NANOMETRIC, available in both 3U (88g) and 4U (83g). The 4U variant was particularly sought after by singles players who wanted Lin Dan's head-heavy feel with a slightly more manageable swing weight. Current secondary market value sits at $948 — a meaningful premium over the standard VTZF2 despite identical frame geometry, driven entirely by LD signature branding and Japan-coded provenance.

The Yellow is the entry point for collectors building toward the White.
