Armortec 600
Model AT-600
Where to find it
Pre-flagship power: Armortec 600
One step from the top
The AT-600 sits just below the legendary AT-700 and AT-900 in the Armortec hierarchy, sharing much of their premium Ultra HM Graphite and gForce Ti specification at a slightly more accessible price. Produced from 2006 to 2010, surviving unstrung examples are less commonly found than the flagship models.
Ultra HM Graphite construction
Ultra HM Graphite and gForce Ti in both frame and shaft give the AT-600 the same authoritative impact feel as the flagship Armortec racquets. The stiff shaft and slightly head-heavy balance reward aggressive baseline players who can generate their own swing speed — a decisive smash feel that the AT-500 approaches but doesn't quite match.
Who it's for
Advanced players who prefer vintage head-heavy stiff-shaft racquets for power-dominant play. The AT-600 is the overlooked model in the range — less famous than the AT-700 or AT-900 Power but sharing their material platform at a quieter price point.
AT-600 designation on shaft. Stiff flex, slightly head-heavy balance. Ultra HM Graphite + gForce Ti. Made in Japan. Standard Yonex hologram.
No tracked price. Scarcer than the AT-700 in practice — worth acquiring in unstrung or lightly played condition when found.
