Where to find it
Two GOATs, one racquet: the Voltric Z-Force II
The racquet that made the smash a weapon
Before the Z-Force II, power racquets hit hard but hit slow. Then Lee Chong Wei won the 2014 All England with it. The ZF2 was the primary weapon of both Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan simultaneously during the greatest rivalry in the sport.
The variant tree
No Yonex racquet has spawned more variants. Standard ($400-680), LCW edition ($500-800), LD Red/Yellow/White ($500-1,300), and the Legend Vision ($2,888+). From $120 to $2,888 — the most complete collector ecosystem in badminton.
The counterfeit problem
The VTZF2 is arguably the most counterfeited badminton racquet ever produced. Check the Extra Slim Shaft diameter, compact head shape, weight precision, Sound Filter inserts at 2 and 10 o'clock, and the hologram.
Shaft visibly slimmer than other Voltrics. Compact head smaller than VT80. Sound Filter at 2/10 o'clock. Most counterfeited racquet in existence.
Blue-chip collectible. Steady 8-15% annual appreciation. Premium for sealed units will widen as mint-condition population shrinks.
