Nanoflare 555: a stiff, matte-white entry Nanoflare with Solid Titanium in its frame
Titanium in an entry Nanoflare
The Nanoflare 555 (item code NF-555) is a stiff entry Nanoflare in Matte White whose frame list ends in Solid Titanium. It shares its HM Graphite frame with Nanocell NEO and EX-HMG, its HM Graphite shaft, its built-in T-joint and its 10 mm longer length with the medium-flex Nanoflare 500, and differs from it in that titanium, the Stiff rating and a single 4U weight. Yonex’s global site first listed it in 2022, and it is still on sale there in October 2026.
Stiff, 4U and 10 mm longer
Yonex’s global page lists the frame as HM Graphite, Nanocell NEO, EX-HMG and Solid Titanium, the shaft as HM Graphite, a built-in T-joint, a length 10 mm longer than standard, Stiff flex and one weight, 4U (average 83 g) with a G4 or G5 grip; Yonex recommends 20–28 lb. Yonex USA’s 2024 catalog prints the same specification and names its technologies as Nanocell NEO, Isometric, Sonic Flare System, AERO Frame, Ultra Slim Shaft, REXIS Shaft, Control Support Cap and EX-HMG. Yonex Taiwan adds Head Light balance and Taiwan as the country of origin, and tags it SPEED. Yonex has published no launch release and no player-level wording for it.
No named player
No player is documented using the Nanoflare 555. Yonex Taiwan’s product page carries a strip of Yonex athletes, among them Kento Momota and Carolina Marin; that strip is a site feature on its racquet pages, not a statement of who uses this model.
One white finish and a black sibling
Yonex lists one color, Matte White (801 in Yonex Taiwan’s code). The closest relative is the Matte Black Nanoflare 500, which Yonex listed from 2021: the same frame materials without the Solid Titanium, Medium rather than Stiff, 5U as well as 4U, and in the 2024 catalog Solid Feel Core and a Super Slim Shaft where the 555 has an Ultra Slim Shaft; it has its own page. In that catalog the 555 shares the Nanoflare page with the Nanoflare 70 and Nanoflare Nextage. No Yonex source places it in the numbered 1000, 800 or 700 families or their Pro, Tour, Game and Play tiers.
Still on Yonex’s global site
The 555 is current. Yonex’s Nanoflare list of January 2022 did not include it; by the end of June 2022 it had its own page on Yonex’s global site, in stock, and it is still listed in stock there in October 2026, beside the Nanoflare 70, the Nanoflare Nextage and the Nanoflare 002 and 001 models. Yonex Taiwan lists it with a suggested price of NT$4,600. Yonex USA’s 2024 catalog included it, but Yonex USA’s online store does not carry it, and Yonex Japan’s 2024–2026 catalogs do not include it. No verified sales are recorded yet.
Copies and look-alikes
No counterfeit of the Nanoflare 555 is documented. The likelier mix-up is with the Nanoflare 500, which shares the frame materials, the T-joint and the 10 mm longer length; the 555 is Matte White, Stiff and 4U only, the 500 Matte Black and Medium. Yonex does not say whether the 555 is sold strung. Yonex’s general authenticity check is its hologram sticker.
A current entry frame
A mass-produced, current entry racquet with no documented player, edition or production end. What sets it apart is its specification: Solid Titanium and a stiff shaft in an entry-level Nanoflare, where its black sibling is medium flex.
Yonex’s item code is NF-555, on a Matte White frame. Yonex documents an HM Graphite frame with Nanocell NEO, EX-HMG and Solid Titanium, an HM Graphite shaft, a built-in T-joint, a frame 10 mm longer than standard, Stiff flex and 4U (average 83 g) with a G4 or G5 grip, and recommends 20–28 lb. Yonex Taiwan adds Head Light balance and Taiwan as the country of origin. A 5U label, a Medium rating, a black frame or a frame list without Solid Titanium points to the Nanoflare 500. Yonex’s own check is its hologram sticker.
Usually bought new as a stiffer entry Nanoflare. For a used one, check the NF-555 code, the Matte White finish, the Stiff rating and a 4U label with a G4 or G5 grip. A listing that gives it 5U or medium flex describes another model, and a country of manufacture other than Taiwan, Yonex Taiwan’s record, is shop copy.
