Voltric 0.1 DG: a 4U hi-flex DG Voltric listed by Yonex UK, 2018–2019
A DG name on a light frame
The Voltric 0.1 DG carried the DG name of the Voltric 1, 7, 10 and 20 DG but not their build. Those four are 3U racquets; Yonex UK listed the 0.1 DG as a 4U, Hi-Flex frame. It is documented only on Yonex UK’s site, where it appeared in April 2018 and was gone by January 2020.
Six lines of specification
Yonex UK’s page gives item code VT0.1DG, Hi-Flex, a graphite and tungsten frame, a graphite shaft and a 4U weight (80–84.9 g) with a G4 grip, in Blue. The page carries only Yonex’s general Voltric text about the Tri-Voltage System and no description of this model. It gives no balance, place of manufacture or stringing advice, and no Yonex text explains the “DG”. The same flex, frame and weight lines appear for the Voltric 0F and the Voltric Lite on Yonex’s pages of those years; no Yonex source says whether the frames are related.

One color, one code
Yonex UK showed the 0.1 DG in Blue only, under one item code, on its pages of 2018 and 2019. The four original DGs and the Voltric Lite have their own pages. The DG Slim frames that followed (Yonex China listed the 2, 8, 11 and 21 DG Slim from 2019) are different racquets. Shop listings also name a 0.5 DG Slim, a 0.7 DG and a 0.9 DG Slim; no Yonex source for them is documented.
Twenty months on Yonex UK’s list
Yonex UK’s Voltric list of 10 April 2018 shows the 0.1 DG beside the Voltric 0F and the Voltric Ace, and its lists through 2018 and 2019 keep it; on 18 December 2019 it sat beside the 20 DG and the Lite. By 8 January 2020 the list had dropped it and added the 8 and 21 DG Slim. The 0.1 DG does not appear on Yonex’s international Voltric list, in Yonex’s 2018 catalog or in Yonex USA’s 2019 and 2021 catalogs. No launch price or production end is documented. No verified sales are recorded yet.
Read the decimal point
No counterfeit of this model is documented. The likelier error is the name: a listing that drops the decimal point turns the 0.1 DG into the Voltric 1 DG, a 3U, medium-flex racquet. The item code VT0.1DG and the 4U label separate them, and the codes VT0F, VTLT and VT-ACE mark the 0F, the Lite and the Voltric Ace, a 4U Hi-Flex Voltric sold in Royal Blue and Ice Blue; it has its own page.
A footnote to the DG line
The 0.1 DG is a thinly documented, one-market Voltric. Its interest for a collector is as the light, flexible outlier among racquets carrying the DG name, sold in Britain between the original DGs and the DG Slims.
Check for the item code VT0.1DG on the frame or box; VT1DG is the 3U Voltric 1 DG. Yonex UK documented the 0.1 DG only in 4U (80–84.9 g) with a G4 grip, only in Blue, with a Hi-Flex shaft and a graphite and tungsten frame. A 3U frame, a stiffer flex or another color does not match Yonex’s listing. Yonex gives no balance or place of manufacture for this model, so neither can confirm one.
Few Yonex records describe the 0.1 DG, and its name is easily misread, so the item code is the main safeguard. Its only documented market is Britain. Listings that call it head-heavy or medium-stiff are not supported by Yonex’s page, which lists it as Hi-Flex.
