Voltric 800 Lite: Yonex China’s ultra-light F-class Voltric, not the Nanoflare 800 LT
The F-class Voltric
The Voltric 800 Lite (Yonex China item VT800LTEX) is an ultra-light Voltric that Yonex documented only on its Chinese site, from 2018 to 2021. Yonex China’s tagline sums it up: F class, ultra-light, a more elastic shaft, easy attack. Its name invites confusion with the Nanoflare 800 LT, a 5U, Japan-made racquet of 2020, but the two share nothing beyond the number and the word “light”.
High-elastic carbon at about 73 g
No launch date is documented. It first appears as a related-product tile on Yonex China’s site in early March 2018, beside the Voltric Ace and the Voltric Power Soar, and its own page was online by May 2018. Yonex China lists a frame of high-elastic carbon and tungsten, a high-elastic carbon shaft, a built-in T-joint, a length 10 mm over standard, F class (about 73 g) with grips 4 and 5, a soft feel (软), the attacking “smash” type (扣杀型) and Taiwan as the place of origin; it recommends 20–28 lb. No balance is documented.
No player on record
No player is documented with the Voltric 800 Lite. Yonex China listed it for adults and named no user.
One blue frame and a red sibling
Yonex named no edition and showed one color, blue (002). From 2020 Yonex China also listed the Voltric Power Boost (VTPWBTEX), which prints the same F class, materials, length, stringing advice, origin and suggested price, but a medium feel, grips 5 and 6 and a red finish, and its page names no T-joint. The 5U Power Soar and 4U Voltric Ace sat below both in price. Each has its own page.
Listed by Yonex China, 2018–2021
The 800 Lite was a Chinese-market model; no Yonex Japan, UK or international listing is documented. Yonex China’s Voltric list still carried it in July 2021, its last archived listing. No Yonex source states a production end, and no launch price in dollars or yen is documented. No verified sales are recorded yet.
Identity before counterfeits
No counterfeit of the 800 Lite is documented. The likelier errors are names: a listing for an “800 Lite” may be the Nanoflare 800 LT (5U, Japan-made, item NF-800LT), and a red F-class Voltric is the Power Boost. The code VT800LTEX, the F label and the blue finish identify this one.
A light Voltric off the main line
The 800 Lite is a regional, Taiwan-made Voltric at the light end of the series, with no player link and no edition. For a collector its main interest is the name it shares with a better-known Nanoflare.
Check the item code VT800LTEX on the frame or box. Yonex China lists the 800 Lite only in F class (about 73 g) with G4 or G5 grips, a high-elastic carbon and tungsten frame, a high-elastic carbon shaft, a built-in T-joint and a length 10 mm over standard, recommends 20–28 lb, and gives Taiwan as the place of origin. Its documented color is blue. A 5U frame coded NF-800LT is the Nanoflare 800 LT; a red F-class frame coded VTPWBTEX is the Voltric Power Boost.
A buyer should confirm the Voltric name and the VT800LTEX code, since listings titled “800 Lite” often mean the Nanoflare 800 LT, and should check the F weight label. With no player link or edition and a run documented only by Yonex China, it is a light racquet for play first.
