Nanoflare 700 Game: the Hi-Flex 4U tier that Yonex Japan sells at an open price
The intermediate tier, with no list price
When Yonex Japan introduced the second-generation Nanoflare 700 in August 2024, it named three models and singled out the Game as the one it recommends for intermediate players, below a Pro for top players and a Tour built to the Pro’s concept. The Game is the softest of the three. Yonex rates it Hi-Flex where the Pro and Tour are medium, and offers it only in 4U. It is made in Taiwan, like the Tour, and Yonex Japan set no list price for it, selling it at an open price while it priced the Pro and Tour. Yonex’s Japanese catalog chart gives the Game a balance marker of its own on the head-light side, slightly apart from the one the Pro and Tour share.
Carbon, Nanocell NEO and a plain shaft
Yonex Japan’s launch table lists the Game’s frame as carbon, Nanocell NEO, high-modulus carbon and Servo Filter, its shaft as carbon alone, and a standard built-in T-joint. Yonex’s global page gives the same build in English: Graphite, Nanocell NEO, HM Graphite and Servo Filter in the frame, Graphite in the shaft. Compared with the Tour, it has no Super HMG anywhere, and Yonex Japan’s release keeps the repulsion-raising frame design, a stiffer top and a sharper angle below, for the two upper tiers. The Game keeps the range’s Sonic Flare System, its Wide Profile Frame and Servo Filter, the epoxy resin film between carbon layers that Yonex says speeds up vibration damping. Like the rest of the family, its frame is 10 mm longer than standard.
Built for intermediate players
Yonex names no player for the Game, and the professional use in Yonex’s equipment lists belongs to the Pro, whose page covers it. Yonex Japan’s shop rates the Game best for intermediate men and women and suitable for beginners, and leaves the advanced column blank, where it rates the Pro and Tour for advanced players. Its shop copy repeats that the Game shares the Pro’s concept design and says it lets a player control the clear and run the rally at will. Yonex USA’s description is broader and aims it at intermediate to advanced players.
Two colors at launch, a third in 2026
The Game launched in Midnight Purple and Silver/Sky Blue, the pair Yonex also gave the Tour and Play; only the Pro was limited to purple. Yonex Japan’s list dates a new Light Beige design of the Game to March 27, 2026, and gives its colors as Light Beige and Midnight Purple, while Yonex’s global page lists all three under the item code 2NF-700G. The only size is 4U, average 83 g, with grip 5 or 6, so a 5U frame coded 2NF-700 is a Pro or Tour. The Nanoflare 800 Game and 1000 Game hold the same tier in Yonex’s other head-light families; Yonex rates both medium rather than Hi-Flex.
Current in three markets
Yonex still makes the Game. Its global store showed it in stock in October 2026, it is on Yonex Japan’s current racquet list and in the Japanese catalogs for 2025 and 2026, and Yonex USA stocks the purple and the silver frames. Because Yonex Japan sold it at an open price, it has no documented launch price. A listing titled only “Nanoflare 700” could be any of the four 2024 tiers or the 2019 original, so the GAME print or the 2NF-700G code is the first thing to establish. No verified sales are recorded yet.
Look-alikes in the same paint
No counterfeit of the Nanoflare 700 Game is documented. Yonex’s general advice is that fakes are hard to spot by eye and that the hologram sticker on a genuine racquet resists peeling. The Game’s practical risk is substitution. It shares Midnight Purple with all three siblings and Silver/Sky Blue with the Tour and Play, and a seller may describe it with the Tour’s Super HMG or the Pro’s M40X, neither of which Yonex lists for the Game. The Play shares its Hi-Flex rating and 4U weight but is graphite throughout and made in China.
The flexible 700
In Japan the Game is the bottom of the 700 range, since Yonex Japan does not sell the Play. It is the family’s Hi-Flex option for players who want the Nanoflare’s head-light handling without the medium-flex shaft of the Tour and Pro, and it keeps the Nanocell NEO frame material it shares with the Tour. Yonex recommends 20–28 lb, with Exbolt 63 for control players and Exbolt 65 for hard hitters.
Yonex’s item code is 2NF-700G, and Yonex lists the frame as made in Taiwan. Yonex rates it Hi-Flex and sells it only in 4U (average 83 g), grip 5 or 6, with a frame 10 mm longer than standard. Yonex lists three colors: Midnight Purple, Silver/Sky Blue and, since March 2026, Light Beige. Yonex lists Graphite, Nanocell NEO, HM Graphite and Servo Filter in the frame and Graphite in the shaft, with no Super HMG, M40X or Ultra PE Fiber. A 5U label or a medium-flex rating points to the Tour or Pro, a Japan marking to the Pro, and a China marking to the Play. Yonex’s hologram sticker is the final check.
A current racquet still sold new in Japan and abroad, so a buyer of a new one chooses only the grip. For a used frame, ask for photographs of the GAME print, the 2NF-700G code, the Taiwan marking and the 4U label. A listing that borrows the Pro’s player story or its materials is describing another racquet, and no Yonex source names a professional on the Game.
